Theremin show with Jairo Moreno

Jairo Moreno (musician, sound designer and composer) will explain to us how to play this instrument that curiously can be played without having to touch it. He self-taught himself and built his first Theremin, which inspired his brother, Dani Moreno, to make the short film “Martians Go Home” with Alaska. Today Jairo travels with his MOOG synthesizer making samples and using it on his soundtracks and songs, giving a personal and original touch to his creations. In this session we will be able to enjoy the screening of the short film “Martians Go Home” by Dani Moreno 2006. In 1986, young Fran made a Theremin. With that instrument he intended to communicate with Sarah Clockwork, his platonic love. What began as a simple game ends with a series of strange events that make Fran believe that Theremin has the power to attract Martians.
