01/ MISSION
The Foundation has the will to serve the general interest and is created based on the social importance and role that cinema has in Catalan society and its main objective is to disseminate, promote and favor this art in Catalonia through the annual design of the festival. called «SITGES, International Film Festival of Catalonia».
02/ FOUNDATIONAL PURPOSES
- Obtain funds from the private sector to be able to invest in its main objective, the SITGES International Film Festival of Catalonia.
- Support the activities carried out by the cultural associations and entities of the sector within the framework of the event.
- Serve as a meeting point for the Catalan, Spanish and international film industry.
- Create an artistic and documentary fund of the foundation with the material acquired to develop its object.
- Support experimental initiatives or initiatives of special sectoral interest that contribute to the development of the foundational purpose.
- Design other promotional film formats that serve as a background for its main object, the SITGES International Film Festival of Catalonia.
- Organize training activities in the field of cinema, both at the level of special training and academic training and postgraduate..
03/ BENEFICIARIES
The entire Catalan film sector is a beneficiary of the Foundation. The rules to establish the beneficiaries of the activity among the persons or entities that belong to this group will be established by the Foundation's Board of Trustees, in accordance with objective and non-discriminatory criteria.
04/ FOUNDATION BOARD
The Foundation Board is the highest body of government, representation and decision of the Festival.
