It’s that wonderful time of the year in which Industry Department opens its floodgates and embraces with renewed enthusiasm all the projects and artists who come to Sitges with ideas that at some point will become some of our new favourite fantastic films.

Today Sitges FanLab opens the call for 3 of its initiatives that allow SITGES to glimpse, before anyone else, the talent of the future. Girls just wanna have FAN – 3rd WomanInFan - Sitges Fanlab Teaser-Short Film Creation Competition

The Sitges - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia presents a third call for entries to make a short film-teaser as part of the WomanInFan program.

With this competition, this Sitges Film Festival initiative for the visibility and incorporation of female creators in fantastic genre filmmaking proposes the creation of a piece destined to be shown around the audiovisual market circuit. And as such, the teaser short film should serve as a sample of an idea for a fantastic genre feature film.

WomanInFan expands its field of action to include film production in order to support the work done by female filmmakers within the fantastic genre industry.

The evaluation committee will select 10 projects from among all those submitted, from which there will be one winner. The 9 runners-up and the winning project will have the right to participate in the Industry sessions at the 57th Sitges - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia via industry accreditation (except for private events).
